Alpha Gamma Delta

Delta Rho Chapter at Sonoma State University

Delta Rho participates in many exciting and enriching social activities with various other organizations on campus. We have themed mixers with fraternities and sports teams where we all come together for a fun game/activity that allows everyone a chance to branch out and get to know each other. These activities include tie dying, speed dating, relay races, barbequing, and more. In addition to mixing with fraternities and sports teams, our chapter recently held its first “sisterhood swap” where we participated in a self-defense class with another sorority. Besides mixers and swaps, we host two other large events: a formal each spring and fall, and Feast of Roses in the fall. Formals give our sisters the opportunity to dress up and dance the night away with a date at a nice venue. Being that we live in the beautiful Sonoma County, golf courses and wineries are our most popular destinations. Feast of Roses is a brunch that happens once a year where our whole chapter comes together to celebrate our new initiates and the accomplishments of all sisters. Family is welcome to attend this event as it gives us the opportunity to show our loved ones what our sisterhood is all about.
